Beautiful clarity and purity of fruit. Full and gentle on the palate with very fine tannins, not powerful but plenty of expressive fruit and great tannic finesse. A wine of exceptional elegance. Not loud, but perfectly balanced and satisfying. Plentiful stone sucking tannins on the long, tapered finish.
As usual, Georges-Lombriere's 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Marie is a charming, supple wine that may be consumed young or aged up to a decade. Gentle garrigue notes join cherries and plums on the nose, while the palate is full-bodied and lush, making for a wine that's easy to drink and easy to like. Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate
