Beautiful clarity and purity of fruit. Full and gentle on the palate with very fine tannins, not powerful but plenty of expressive fruit and great tannic finesse. A wine of exceptional elegance. Not loud, but perfectly balanced and satisfying. Plentiful stone sucking tannins on the long, tapered finish.

As usual, Georges-Lombriere's 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Marie is a charming, supple wine that may be consumed young or aged up to a decade.
