This is my go-to Super-Tuscan recommendation when someone is looking for a wine to pair with a heavier dish, especially beef.  It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the prestigous appellation of Bolgheri in Tuscany.  This is a wine I love recommending as an alternative to California Cabernet Sauvignons.  At this price it is a stellar value.  It is still young, so make sure you decant it before your meal.  Enjoy!
